Cult of Security
Cult of Security
It is of fundamental importance that the actions of Christian military associations and public security professionals be integrated with those of churches and that there be a relationship interaction with pastors aiming at reciprocal help so that both institutions benefit. We can see that the two most successful institutions in Brazil have a good relationship with churches: UMESC in Santa Catarina and PMs de Cristo in São Paulo. Given this premise, the security service subproject was developed.
WHY THE SECURITY SERVICE IN CHURCHES?
A point of convergence for all those involved in defense and public security;
Create ties and partnerships between associations and churches;
Pastors and churches learn about the work of associations;
Integrate the work of associations and churches;
A place to introduce converted people to congregate;
Present a reference for missions and evangelization;
Give churches the opportunity to participate in the Expedition;
Open the campaign: pray for your police force;
Financial support partnership;
WHAT IS THE SECURITY SERVICE? – It is a program of the America for Christ Expedition aimed at fully achieving the planned objectives and will be carried out according to the same liturgical standards as local churches. The Expedition, through the Command, will be responsible for the services. It will be coordinated and directed by members of associations or unions of military personnel and public security professionals, predominantly workers, mainly members of the churches themselves trained and declared fit for this purpose. The service will have a program and message specified by the Expedition.
HOW TO CHOOSE A CHURCH FOR THIS EVENT? – The choice will be made by the Mission Command on its own initiative or by recommendation of third parties. Once selected, the church will be included in the Expedition's agenda and program. All the dynamics, liturgy, preaching and message will be explained to the church's Pastor to avoid fear or insecurity. Before the event, messages will be sent to church members to make the most of the teaching and preaching by creating anticipation, curiosity and attention for the event.
GUESTS AND PUBLIC – After the day, time and place of the event have been announced, the church and the Mission Command will be responsible for inviting members of the public, non-Christians, in short: everyone. Participation may also be virtual, through live broadcasts on social media.
WORSHIP – The local host church will be responsible for the worship. Songs with lyrics and rhythm that interact with the main target audience will be suggested; the message and memento, both from Harpa e Cantor Cristo and other songs, will focus attention on the preaching and objectives of the mission;
WHO WILL LEAD THE WORSHIP – Military personnel or public safety professionals declared fit by the Coordination, who may be from the church itself, as long as they are trained.
LITURGY
Prayer for the members of the Coordination; Praise from the church itself for twenty minutes;
Presentation of one or two videos, but viewed in advance by the local Pastor to avoid insecurity;
One or two testimonies by military personnel or public security professionals, previously chosen, whether of a personal fact or of third parties according to the Public Security Daily Bread model;
The official message of the event will be presented for 50 minutes;
Initial work and invitation to participate in the mission;
Collection of offerings for the mission;
Closing.
PREACHING – The preaching will be assigned to military personnel and public security professionals chosen by the Coordination for this purpose. A video of the message will be shown to the local Pastor in advance to avoid insecurity.
WHAT IS THE THEME AND FOCUS OF THE MESSAGE – The message must be about the America for Christ Expedition and will be for the edification of military personnel and public security professionals, however, such content cannot disassociate from the edification of the church itself and Christians in general. The theme will be: Eleventh Hour Workers: calling, preparation and sending;
OFFERING – The Coordination will contact the Church Pastor directly in advance to form a partnership with the Expedition through a donation and to receive a gift in return. The request will be made that the offering for the service be made available to the Expedition, as well as gifts presented to the donors that are semi-sale materials, that is, indirect sales. The gifts will be a reminder and a milestone of the Mission’s passage.
WORSHIP SCHEDULE
- Maintain advance contact with the churches to receive the mission, informing them of the entire dynamic and presenting the videos and the official message to avoid insecurity;
- Post messages in the church group a few days before the service: hymns, videos and texts to motivate the theme, event and attention to the sermon;
- Request an hour and a half to present:
- Who we are – Present a video of the Associations and Unions of Military Christians and Public Security Professionals. History, Scope (local, national and worldwide), objectives and what we are not (not: church collects tithes, politics). Clarification to all pastors that we are not and will not be churches, our ministry of over one hundred years, we are an extension of the churches in missions;
- What are we here to do?
- Summary of the Project for preaching;
- Preach the official message. Reserve fifty minutes to present the Official Message. Bring the message of the Project to the church as an institution and to individual Christians, challenging everyone to be faithful to the Word of God, more specifically about spiritual coldness, awakening, revival and missions;
- Carry out Expedition activities immediately after the sermon. Invite everyone to participate in the Project and be Eleventh Hour Missionaries, putting into practice, immediately after the sermon, some objectives of the Expedition:
- Read God's promise through the Prophet Joel 2:28, provide a quick motivation about seeking the fulfillment of this promise and pray for us to achieve this prophecy;
- Expel three times the caste of demons that invaded Brazil with the index finger pointing to the heavenly regions;
- Collect the offering from the service to maintain the Expedition;
- Invite people to make a donation to this mission and receive a souvenir gift and a passage from the Expedition at church;
- Remember that our professionals, when they entered the ranks of the Military Corps or Public Security, swore to defend the profession by sacrificing their own lives. Motivate and warn that this oath is also valid for Christian life at the end of time, according to the Holy Bible. Invite people to a special calling, take a missionary oath, similar to what is done by the military, aiming to motivate, challenge courage and renunciation of missions at the last hour of the church;
- Work in the local church, guided by your Pastor, in your city, State or country, winning souls for the Kingdom of God and filling the church with saved people;
- Pray continually for a spiritual and missionary revival;
- Work with us, if the pastor allows, through prayers, donations and being a missionary, if there is convergence of common spiritual interests in view of the talents you have;
- Show the importance, need and urgency of missions aiming at an immediate missionary awakening in America for the evangelization of the continent and the world before the coming of Christ and the great tribulation;
- Present the video of the hope of Brazil being the breeding ground for missions.
- Campaign: pray for your police;
- Mediate a partnership between the association and the church.
