DEFINITION, EXPLANATION AND DETAILS.
WHAT IS AN EXPEDITION? The expedition is a general project, as it encompasses many other specific themes. It is a visionary megaproject subdivided into a series of subprojects whose purpose is to offer services and resources to each of the associations or unions of military Christians and public security professionals in the Brazilian states and countries of the American continent, except for the islands in its first stage.
It is an educational, motivational and missionary effort, covering public security professionals, the churches of its members, among others, as well as the evangelization of society in general. It is characterized by providing services of interest to each association that are similar to our purposes, according to the lessons learned from UMCEB (almost 40 years), AMCF (100 years) and many other associations in Brazil (MCFs). For more than ten years, we have been studying the needs of the associations and the proposals for overcoming the obstacles to achieving qualitative and quantitative growth. Once the information was available, suggestions were put together to be presented and discussed with the leaders of each state to form a broad action package aimed at energizing innovative local practical projects.
The term America for Christ has the following aspects that define it as such:
- The work will have themes of general interest to all of Brazil and the Continent, standardized and connected under the leadership of an Expedition Command;
- All of us, the targets and executors of the work plan, belong to the American continent;
- The route and field of action is to travel and serve everyone on the continent;
- The FDI of the Lord Jesus is continuous, progressive and universal, the barracks missions going to the ends of the barracks and the earth;

- General Objective - To boost associations or unions of evangelical Christians in the military and public security professionals through the development of new projects that are noble, visionary and comprehensive as a result of a new vision acquired by renewing knowledge and multiplying it tenfold by adding values, talents and results;
- What motivated the expedition? The project was born based on the divine plans contained in the Scriptures: Go into all the world..., on the needs for growth, on the educational and literary shortcomings of our associations, on the gigantic missionary potential we have, on the improvement or qualification of the services provided, and finally, on the definition of priorities and a commitment from everyone;
- What will we do? - There will be virtual and face-to-face talks presenting a plan of work, action and accompanied by criticism, exchange of experiences and suggestions, all aimed at reworking new and dynamic projects that are bolder and more differentiated. The mission proposes to travel all over Brazil to present the Expedition in person as a complement to the virtual one. We will hold: a meeting with the local Board of Directors, which will be the state leadership and executors of the Expedition; a meeting with all the members of the public security system; five services in the churches of the members of the local union, as well as other activities: prayers; fasting, evangelization of the classes represented, voluntary contributions and other details to be explained in due course;
- What do we offer? - Galatians. 5:13: Serve one another in love. Service is the fundamental basis of Christianity. We offer advice to the UMCEB and the state associations with the aim of multiplying knowledge, collaborating in the preparation of strategic plans, energizing missions; all in a bold, visionary and differentiated way in order to achieve greater efficiency. The services will be provided free of charge and we will also offer a package in return for the partnership: participation and performance. We will even offer 20% of the funds donated to the Expedition in the state, with 15% going to the local association and 5% to UMCEB;
- How much will you invest in the services you provide? No price has been set for the services rendered. The mission commander is investing time, dedication and resources of his own, from friends, from the institutions he chairs and from people who love missionary work to serve everyone. There is no set amount, but it would not be fair for the commander to pay for these services alone. We need the members of the local associations to get involved in the project and invite third parties: churches, business people, pastors, Adhonepians and many other Christians to collaborate. It wouldn't be fair for you to do nothing yourself, since you'll receive 15% of the money collected in the state, as well as the services. You are invited to contribute whatever your conscience and the Holy Spirit direct you to do. Whatever you do, do it as a service to God and as a response of gratitude to Him and to the Expedition's services;
- Missionary journeys - The mission leader will travel to all the places along the mission route and anyone who wishes to go can accompany him, as long as they raise the necessary funds for their expenses, which can be paid by him or by a third party;
- Follow-up - The agenda and logbook will be available online on social media, WhatsApp and the official website: https://www.ammepmdf.com.br/projeto. All this will give us reliability so that implementing partners and investors can feel confident;
- Full success - Success will be achieved in the following aspects: the
Expedition and the local association;
The Expedition:
- Partial presentation of the project and motivation for the Expedition to be received and carried out in the states or countries;
- Full presentation of the project in person “on site” so that it is fully known and accepted in whole or in part;
- mmediately after the full presentation, an immediate work plan will be implemented;
The local association:
- Reception of the Expedition Command and execution of the partial and immediate work plan;
- Full implementation of the project's suggestions in the medium term, in line with the Expedition's commitment;
Objectives: I'll mention just four in this summary.
- Awakening giants. - To raise awareness and motivate people about the potential of military Christians and public security professionals. Have you ever wondered why the elephant, a huge animal, is tied to a flimsy rope that, with little effort, would snap? Military Christians and public safety professionals are giants in missionary potential due to many factors: penetration, capillarity and social, religious, ecclesiastical and professional influence, greater than any profession or church. Despite the potential, there are inhibiting factors or barriers due to professional habits and customs that hinder attitudes, initiative and boldness to develop differentiated strategic plans. We want to awaken this gigantic potential.
- Multiply the missionary activities of local associations tenfold - Multiply the talents, gifts and resources of the military and public security professionals with wise strategies for involvement, commitment and participation. All of this will be achieved by reforming the Statutes as suggested by the UMCEB and the Expedition;
- Defining and describing the identity and doctrine of the associations through educational and literary projects - This will be achieved with the sub-projects of the institute and the literary plan. All state associates will be invited to take part in the educational process and the production of literature that will identify, guide and define objectives and how to achieve them;
- Discovering the formula for efficiency together - Self-questioning: are we being fully efficient in achieving the best and most noble objectives? Are we always growing? Is the administrative and leadership work methodology complete? Are we taking advantage of the strength and opportunities we have? Are we facing obstacles and succeeding? What are the steps to achieving UNITY? In the proposal for unity, are we giving equal opportunities, i.e. burdens and bonuses? The expedition has suggestions for consideration and improvement.
Main sub-projects: I will mention just four in this summary.
- Fulfill the Lord's IDE - Obeying the Lord's command to go to the ends of the earth is an ordinance, theory and practice must go hand in hand. The best, most economical and efficient missionary work is love for one's neighbor, and this takes the form of a Christian hand extended to a professional colleague. All the work comes down to: going and making disciples.
- Create the Mil Institute of Missionary Education - Together, create a solid, autonomous and sovereign missionary education institution whose purpose is to offer courses for influential leaders prepared to multiply knowledge in our associations (identity and doctrine). Give opinions on: suggested subjects, add teaching materials; present people to form the academic body of counselors and teachers;
- Universalizing the cult of security - Services will be held in members' churches, among others, with the aim of connecting military personnel and public security professionals. The most up-to-date message will be preached, mainly about diagnosing spiritual coldness, applying the healing remedy, missionary motivation, seeking the revival of the prophet Joel.2.28, seeking support from local churches to form partnerships with local associations and for the expedition;
- Knowing and being references - Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ (Apostle Paul...). This double hand of receiving and being a reference will be achieved by presenting references from Brazil and the world. The road to success is a matter of learning from the success of others and, to do this, we need to seek information, motivate each other and decide to become role models for the next generations. In order to be role models we have to follow role models and to do this we have to know them. Present successful projects to serve as benchmarks that give us a broader vision and, consequently, the knowledge to develop visionary and noble projects similar to those mentioned, but adapted to the local reality. The models to be suggested are accumulated from AMCF (100 years), UMCEB (almost 40 years), MCFs in Brazil (decades of work and more than thirty associations), MCFs in American countries and ACCTS (decades). Knowing the history, strategies and experiences of other people and institutions makes us richer and better able to draw up bolder and more visionary plans.
REFLECTIONS
- 01. The Project's official message, prophetic preaching - This is one of the Expedition's sub-projects. Visits to the churches will be indispensable in order to make a spiritual impact and summon the workers: UNDECIMA HORA, as well as: make a spiritual diagnosis, reveal the characteristics of lukewarmness and apply the remedies for coldness. At the end of the sermon, everyone will be invited to carry out the Expedition immediately;
- 02. Searching for resources from heavenly treasures - This is one of the Expedition's sub-projects. The resources to fund the activities of the local associations and the project are available in the hearts and pockets of God's servants who give their lives and their coins in love and gratitude to God. The best motivations and ways of seeking these resources are matters to be addressed by the Expedition. We will discuss many other creative ways of seeking resources;
- 03. Education is the basis for knowledge, improving behavior and broadening vision. - This is one of the Expedition's sub-projects. All this makes for efficient administration and the development of visionary projects. Based on this true premise, the project sets out to develop the basic ideas for the foundation of the Mil Missionary Education Institute, which, in order to achieve great success, requires the participation of all the associations or unions of Christian military and public security professionals in the states. My people have been destroyed for lack of knowledge. Os.4.6;
- 04. We propagate oral knowledge, but we must turn it into literature. - This is one of the Expedition's sub-projects. This reality urgently forces us to produce books and for that we need people who are willing to write and answer our deepest questions: Who are we? What are our origins? What do we do? Where do we want to go? How do we travel this journey? What are our relationships and actions with churches, institutional chaplaincies, corporations and coworkers? If our doctrine and identity are not written down, we will always suffer oral additions that will distort our identity. Literature teaches us to better understand who we are, to question what we could have been and to project what we can become.
