Statement of Faith
Statement of Faith
The credo, statement of faith, or profession of faith of the Expedition America for Christ was crafted to ensure that partners feel secure about the beliefs of those executing the Expedition.
The Holy Bible is the infallible Word of God, a rule of faith that teaches Christians to live ethically, morally, and with exemplary behavior before God and society.
The vicarious death of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to save humanity from sin, as all have sinned and need salvation through Jesus Christ.
Divine grace is the reason for human salvation, with Jesus Christ being the merit through which people are reconciled with God.
The church was established by the Lord Jesus to serve only God through the edification of Christians, teaching, sharing experiences, and being the missionary agency to the ends of the earth.
The outpouring, presence, and action of the Holy Spirit of God in a person is fundamental for the conviction of sin and to empower them to remain Christian and perform God's work.
The new birth is necessary for everyone, resulting from God's action and becoming evidence of the reconciliation between man and God, as the new creation lives in holiness to please the Creator.
Worship in spirit and truth is a permanent bond for Christians who, wherever they are, will be connected with their Creator.
Spiritual virtues and Christian unity are the best testimonies, significantly contributing to leading people to Christ, the Savior.
The universal priesthood of saints is a Christian ministry extended to everyone to be exercised in social and professional relationships.
Missions are one of the primary activities of the church, linking Christians with those who will come to the new birth.
The Project America for Christ is the Christian credo in daily practice, with its actions fulfilling the mission given to the church: GO INTO ALL THE WORLD..., which means missionary action in the following aspects:
- Respect for churches and their various doctrines and customs.
- Forming partnerships with churches, missionary agencies, and other Christian institutions to achieve their goals.
- Conducting Christian missions for military and public security professionals and leading them to evangelize their colleagues and, within possibilities, to the ends of the earth.
- Motivating the church as the Body of Christ and individual Christians to engage in missions during this final harvest.
- Utilizing professional relationships and friendships as military and public security professionals to present Jesus Christ as the only and sufficient Savior.
- The rule of faith and practice is the Word of God and does not proclaim philosophical, political, party-political systems, governments, or specific church doctrines or denominations.
- Belief in the work of partnerships where more is achieved with less effort and investment, making it necessary to share burdens and benefits.
- Overcoming personal and institutional vanity for the benefit of the Kingdom vision and Christian unity.
